Russia shifts aviation strategy, launching less KAB bombs in Kharkiv direction - 92nd Brigade
Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles strike UAV battalion of the 92nd Brigade, observes that the intensity of Russia's use of guided bombs is contingent on its air presence
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"As for Russian weaponry, they utilize everything produced by the Russian military-industrial complex or supplied by third countries supporting the aggressor across all sections of the front. The intensity of UAV usage by Russia depends on their air presence. Currently, we observe that the invader's use of UAVs has decreased, though not significantly, along the frontline and in frontline villages and towns," commented Yuriy Fedorenko.
According to him, the reduced intensity of Russia's use of guided bombs is a temporary phenomenon, as Russian troops are shifting their focus in aviation operations.
"To address this issue, we need authorization from our international partners to conduct long-range precision strikes deep into Russia, especially targeting nearby airfields. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are already performing these tasks with unmanned systems, which were utilized more frequently than the enemy's systems last month. However, to fully neutralize Russian high-intensity aviation, we must secure permission to use precision weapons. I am confident that this day will come, and the front will create conditions for our diplomats to present the necessary arguments and justifications to obtain these permissions," Yuriy Fedorenko concluded.
