Russia attacks Kharkiv region overnight, injuring five civilians
On the night of August 9, the occupying Russian army launched attacks on four settlements in the Kharkiv region. The assaults resulted in five civilians being injured and several houses being destroyed
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
He noted that around 11 p.m., Russian troops attacked the town of Kupiansk using MLRS. The assault caused a house to catch fire, resulting in injuries to a 57-year-old woman and two men, aged 45 and 44.
An hour later, Russia attacked residential buildings in Borova settlement of the Izium district. The attack destroyed one private house, damaged three more and one two-story apartment building.
According to Syniehubov, at 12:25 a.m., Russian troops attacked Kupiansk, wounding a 44-year-old man.
Around 2:30 a.m., the Zolochiv settlement in Bohodukhiv district came under fire. The MLRS attack caused damage to private and apartment buildings as well as gas networks.
In the morning, at 06:20 a.m., Russia attacked the village of Slobozhanske. A 46-year-old man was wounded in the attack.
