Russia has suspended the payment of membership fees to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly budget for 2023, saying that it "will not pay for something it did not participate in"

The statement was made by the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin. He explained this decision by the fact that the Russian delegation is not allowed to work.
"We should not pay for something we did not participate in," Volodin said.
