According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Russian Federation is working on two options for nuclear blackmail.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov reported this.

He noted Russia prepares 2 options for nuclear disaster. The first one is to set fire to radioactive forests. As a result, the radioactive cloud will rise and go in the direction where the wind blows. The second is the use of artillery for nuclear storage – the consequences will be the same.

Anyway the Russian government is getting ready to blame Ukraine for the catastrophe. Budanov emphasized it is not the first time Moscow has resorted to nuclear blackmail. In particular, there were shelling of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, as well as a missile strike on the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology, which has an experimental nuclear reactor.
