Russia has lost 2 important advantages to repeated offensive from Belarus
Defense Express expert Serhiy Zgurets believes that the second Russian offensive from the territory of Belarus will be ineffective since it has lost the surprise factor.
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"We remember very well the surprise attack of the Russian Federation from the territory of Belarus. However, it will no longer work for Russia. The Ukrainian-Belarusian border is being strengthened. It will be very difficult for the Russian army to pass through it. It is also worth emphasizing that the potential of the forces that Russia has had at the beginning of the invasion, is exhausted and does not have the same power as on February 24," Zgurets explained.
The military expert emphasized that the threat of an attack from the territory of Belarus should not be ignored.
"On February 24, the Russian army, which attacked Ukraine, had more than 40,000 of its most combat-ready and trained soldiers. Now there are more than 12,000 mobilized soldiers on the territory of Belarus who have not yet received full training. However, in any case, this direction remains very tense and significant. Therefore, we should not ignore threats coming from the territory of Belarus," he added.

On the same day, it became known that the Russian army is transferring military equipment to the border between Belarus and Ukraine.
