About $60 million of Russian assets transferred to Ukraine’s budget in 2024
In 2024, 2.5 billion UAH (approximately $60 million) of Russian assets were transferred to Ukraine’s state budget, which can now be used for the country’s reconstruction and defense against the aggressor

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
"2.5 billion UAH of Russian assets have been transferred to Ukraine's budget — one of the key achievements of the Ministry of Justice in 2024," the statement reads.
The ministry also highlighted other accomplishments from the past year, including:
- Thousands of documented war crimes;
- Launch of the "Unified National Portal for Collecting Facts of Human Rights Violations";
- Beginning work on a special registry to protect deported children;
- Starting to accept applications for the registry of damages related to property destruction, forced displacement, or the death/disappearance of loved ones.
Additionally, the Ministry of Justice listed achievements such as countering corporate raiding, ratification of the Rome Statute, and implementing sanctions policies.
