The Belarusian Ministry of Defense reports.
On the instructions of the self-proclaimed President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, and under the leadership of the State Secretariat of the Security Council, a sudden check of troop combat readiness began.
"Measures will have a complex nature, troops will have to advance to designated areas as soon as possible, implement their engineering equipment, organize security and defense, as well as establish bridge crossings over the Neman and Berezina rivers," the message says.
During this period, in addition to the movement of military equipment and personnel, a temporary restriction on the movement of citizens (transport) on certain public roads and areas of terrain is planned.
