Trush further assured that the ecological situation in the city remains stable, and there is no reason for concern. The pungent smell experienced during the fire was due to the burning of plastic and other chemicals. Ecological measurements conducted after extinguishing the fire confirmed that there is no danger.
Mayor Serhii Nadal added that radiation levels in Ternopil are monitored twice a day, and official websites provide real-time information on environmental measurements. The city's air is reported to be clean and safe.
