Putin was wrong when he thought he could break Ukraine's people, Armed Forces - Stoltenberg
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg believes that Putin has underestimated Ukrainians and Ukraine's Armed Forces
He expressed this opinion at the Summit of the Crimean Platform on the air of Espreso TV.
"President Putin thought he could break the Ukrainian people and Ukraine's Armed Forces. He thought he could dictate his terms. Putin was wrong. Many friends of Ukraine testify to this by their presence at the Crimean Platform summit. Ukraine has survived six difficult months of war. The Ukrainian people show the ability to resist Russia's brutal aggression", Stoltenberg stressed.
NATO Secretary General emphasized that the Alliance will continue to support Ukraine.
"NATO is fully in solidarity with Ukraine. Our member countries fully support Ukraine. We help Ukraine to improve its military equipment. NATO is committed to cooperation with Ukraine. Now the war is running out of steam. This is a war of will and logistics. Therefore, we must continue to support Ukraine", he added.
