The local edition of The Times of Israel reported that Zelenskyy would not visit Israel this week.
According to the report, Zelenskyy decided to postpone the visit, presumably because of a leak about the president's plans to visit Israel.
Israeli diplomatic sources say that he is expected to make the trip, but no date has been set.
"If President Zelenskyy comes, he will be welcomed with open arms," the source said.
- On October 11, the Israeli online media outlet Ynet reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was considering a visit to Israel. And on November 3, the Israeli edition of The Times of Israel said that Zelenskyy might visit Israel past November 6.
- Diplomat Valeriy Chaly believes that Zelenskyy's visit to Israel would be very appropriate now, as both countries are in a situation of self-defense and can help each other.
