Ukrainian Novator-2 equipped with new EW system successfully repels all drones in latest test
KVERTUS Deputy CEO Oleksii Cherniuk announced that the electronic warfare equipment installed on the Novator-2 armored vehicle has successfully passed its tests
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"We are now actively cooperating with Ukrainian Armour. We have started installing our Kraken Counter FPV electronic warfare system on the Novator-2 armored vehicle. Starting in September, we also plan to integrate our equipment inside the Novator-2. That is, we will actually mount the electronic warfare system during the production stage of the armored vehicle. Our company has already received positive feedback from the frontline from our military. We also tested the electronic warfare system the day before, and not a single drone that tried to reach the armored vehicle was successful. All drones hit the armored vehicle," Cherniuk said.
The company's deputy CEO stressed that the production of electronic warfare equipment is increasing every month.
"Our company not only manages to fulfill orders for electronic warfare equipment but also plans to scale up production. Every month we increase the production of such systems. In particular, in 2023, we could produce up to 1,000 units per month, while now we are ready and have the capacity to produce 5,000-10,000 units per month," he added.
- On August 1, Ukrainian Armour's Novator-2 armoured vehicle was tested with a KVERTUS electronic warfare system.
