Russia prepares for assault near Robotyne - Zaporizhzhia regional council
Deputy of Zaporizhzhia Regional Council Serhiy Lyshenko noted that Russia's actions indicate the possible preparations for the assault on the so-called Robotyne ledge
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The enemy is trying to attack in the Zaporizhzhia direction every day. These attacks are not significant, but aimed at capturing this territory. Hostile artillery and aviation have been activated, and the occupiers are dropping aerial bombs. The number of guided aerial bomb drops has increased, indicating that the Russians may be preparing for a more thorough offensive. There was information about an increase in the number of Russian troops, which means that they may be preparing to storm the Robotyne ledge," Lyshenko said.
According to the deputy of Zaporizhzhia regional council, no new Russian units are arriving in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
"The enemy is replenishing those units that have already participated in combat, suffered losses and were withdrawn for recuperation. They are replenishing manpower, equipment and ammunition," added Lyshenko.
