Ukrainian army stops Russia's advance in Kupyansk sector - 92nd Brigade Commander Fedorenko
Joint work of Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades and special groups completely stopped Russia's advance in Kupyansk direction
Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles battalion of the 92nd Detached Assault Brigade named after Ivan Sirko, told Espreso TV channel.
“The situation in Kupyansk is as follows. The enemy has concentrated a significant amount of forces and weapons to conduct a strike assault. Over the previous period, the enemy had minor tactical successes on the battlefield. But at the moment, due to the combined work of the brigades holding the segment, special groups and other representatives of the Defense Forces, I am convinced that we have managed to completely stop the enemy's advance,” he said.
Systematic work is underway to maximize destruction in order to completely minimize Russia's ability to conduct strike and assault operations.
“We are working on the destruction of the strike and assault potential. This is an important task to prevent the enemy from building on the success it had previously. There have been no recent adversary successes on the battlefield. The hard, systematic, round-the-clock work of the Defense Forces continues,” the 92nd Brigade commander added.
