102 combat clashes occur at front, Kurakhove sector faces heavy fighting

Since the start of September 6, there have been 102 combat engagements along the frontline. The Kurakhove sector has seen 32 Russian attacks, with six ongoing battles in the area

Ukraine's General Staff reported the information.

Border settlements in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions continue to suffer from shelling from the territory of Russia. The areas of Semenivka, Zarichchia, Bobylivka, Khodyne, Mykolaivka, and Boiaro-Lezhachi were hit by artillery and mortar fire.

The Russians also conducted six air strikes using 7 guided aerial bombs in the areas of Bezdryk, Malushyne, Yunakivka, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Yampil, and Rivne. In addition, the occupying army continues to drop bombs on the Kursk region. So far, 16 air strikes have been reported, using 16 guided aerial bombs.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, the Russian army launched an attack near Vovchansk, where a firefight is currently ongoing.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian forces conducted 12 offensives near Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Andriivka, Berestove, and Stelmakhivka. Eight of these attacks were repelled, while four are still in progress. Russian troops also targeted Stelmakhivka and Petropavlivka with unguided aerial missiles.

In the Lyman sector, the invading army attacked Ukrainian positions nine times near Novoiehorivka, Druzheliubivka, Cherneshchyna, Terny, Torske, and Dibrova. Five battles have concluded, and four are still ongoing.

In the Siversk sector, Russia advanced near Verkhniokamianske and Spirne throughout the day, with two firefights still ongoing near Verkhniokamianske.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops launched three assault attacks near Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, and Andriivka. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled these attacks.

In the Toretsk sector, the occupying Russian army conducted five attacks near Toretsk and Nelipivka. Four of these attacks have concluded, and one is still ongoing. Additionally, Russia carried out air strikes on Toretsk and Druzhba.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces launched assault operations in Sukha Balka, Oleksandropil, Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Novotroitske, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, and Mykhailivka. The most intense activity is near Novohrodivka, which accounted for over a third of all offensive actions. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 20 Russian attacks, with seven combat engagements still ongoing. An air strike was also reported near Oleksandropil.

In the Kurakhove sector, the occupying army conducted 32 attacks near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, and Heorhiivka. Six battles are still underway.

In the Vremivka sector, Russia attempted five assaults near Vodiane and Staromaiorsk, but these attacks were repelled.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled five Russian attacks.

The situation in other areas of the front remains unchanged.

  • Over the past day, the Russian army lost 1,170 soldiers in the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian forces managed to eliminate 7 Russian tanks and destroy an air defense system.
