Russia increases attack accuracy: Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Iyevlyev on Horlivka direction
Yevhen Iyevlyev, a serviceman with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reports that the situation in the Horlivka direction has not changed, with the density of Russian shelling remaining high
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"We are holding the defense line in the Horlivka direction, where the situation has not changed over the past 4-5 days. The enemy has been employing a wide range of weaponry, including cluster munitions, self-propelled artillery systems, mortars, and tanks, and continues to do so. I assumed duty on December 30, and I was replaced on January 2, the situation has not changed at all. The intensity of shelling remains high, and we must acknowledge that the enemy's accuracy has increased. Previously, the shells seemed to be directed randomly, but now the explosions are occurring much closer to our location," said the Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman.
Yevhen Iyevlyev added that the defense line where his unit is stationed has been in place since 2014 and is thoroughly mined. The defensive structure is designed in accordance with modern military science, ensuring that the Russian troops would incur significant losses if they attempt to advance in this direction.
