Invaders took away mobile phones: in Gostomel people learn about the evacuation by rumors and set up receivers to pick up the radio
In Gostomel, Kyiv region, temporarily occupied by Russians, the invaders take mobile phones from local residents and smash them, arguing that the signal is allegedly used to direct fire
This was reported by residents of Gostomel, who managed to evacuate through a humanitarian corridor to Kyiv, Espresso.TV reports.
As a result of the actions of the invaders, civilians were left without means of communication and sources of information. So, the population of the territories temporarily occupied by Russians does not receive notifications about the humanitarian corridors created by Ukraine and about the places and times of collections for evacuation. People learn information about humanitarian corridors by communicating with each other.
At the same time, residents hide in the basements of their own houses for fear of shelling, even when they have access to their own houses.
At the same time, the evacuated civilians noted that it is possible to pick up a radio signal in the temporarily occupied territory and the owners of the receivers tune them in order to get at least some information and news on the radio.
According to civilians, they managed to evacuate by driving a car along with other local residents to Bucha, where they transferred to evacuation buses.
In addition, according to the testimony of locals, the invaders also do not have mobile phones and are in information isolation, which is why false rumors arise among them about supposedly planned peace settlement summits with the participation of China, etc.According to the evacuees, the invaders offered them to leave for Belarus, but the Ukrainians refused.
