International tribunal for Russia may appear by summer - Nuland
In the summer of 2023, the International Tribunal or its equivalent may start its work to bring the Russian Federation to justice for war crimes in Ukraine
US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland stated this, Voice of America reports.
The United States is working on this issue together with the G7 countries and Ukraine - different models of the mechanism are being considered, she said.
“I would like us to come to a conclusion by the anniversary (of the invasion - ed.) - around February, but it may take a few more months. But I would like to see this mechanism in place by the summer,” Nuland emphasized.
