The former US Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations believes that the West should do everything possible to help Ukraine win the war.
“Russia is trying to convince the West that we should have doubts and that we shouldn't do things. In reality we should be giving everything that we can to Ukraine to help win this war as quickly as possible,” Kurt Volker noted.
The American diplomat is convinced that there is simply no scenario when Ukraine does not hold out.
“Ukraine is a sovereign independent country, and its people are determined and resilient. They know they are Ukrainians. The idea that Ukraine disappears or gives up is inconceivable. What we need to do is just to make sure Ukraine is able to fight and to regain its territory as quickly as possible,” Kurt Volker concluded.
