Former SBU head Bakanov has not yet been brought to justice for scandal with FSB agents in SBU - journalist
About unpunished high treason
Former Security Service of Ukraine head lieutenant Ivan Bakanov lives far from the war and has been granted the status of a lawyer
He even gave an interview in which he described how effectively he defended the state. And the naval drones that the Security Service and the Navy jointly used to blow up the Crimean Bridge in July 2023, according to Bakanov, were developed thanks to his idea.
How is this even possible? Bakanov appointed exposed Federal Security Service agents to senior positions in the Security Service of Ukraine. The same Oleh Kulinich sat in his office all the time, especially after the war started. He resigned from his position as the head of the Security Service of Ukraine in Crimea in Kherson, betrayed all our people in Crimea, and gave up all our secrets. Bakanov was not only promoting Russian disinformation before the invasion, he was hiding in the first days and did not make any decisions at all. Of course, Bakanov had nothing to do with any drone attacks.
So how do you investigate the case of the surrender of southern Ukraine and interrogate the military when you forbade investigators to question the former head of the Security Service of Ukraine, who appointed a group of Federal Security Service agents to senior positions in this area?
Bakanov is still not a defendant in any criminal cases, he lives a peaceful life, and tens of thousands have died because of this betrayal, because of these criminal deeds and inaction.
Bakanov, who is brazenly walking free, not under investigation and not in a cell, is a demonstration that even state security, law and justice in Ukraine are worthless if you are the director of Kvartal 95 (Ukrainian entertainment content production company founded by Zelenskyy - ed.).
