F-16 fighter jets for Ukraine are ready in the Netherlands
Polish politician Mirosław Czech says that the Netherlands could become a donor of F-16 fighter jets for Ukraine
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"Ukraine will receive all the heavy weapons, fighter jets will also come. America is discussing the supply of F-16s, but the US will not supply them. One of the European countries that has these planes, the Netherlands, can already act as a donor. They have more than 30 F-16 fighter jets. The Netherlands is currently rearming its army with F-35s. That is, the F-16s are ready to go anytime," Czech emphasized.
Regarding the possibility of providing Ukraine with newer fighters, the politician noted that this issue is more difficult to resolve than the F-16 issue.
"I would like Ukraine to receive F-35 fighter jets. 25-30 of these aircraft can solve the problem of the sky in Ukraine. But it takes 3 to 5 years to move F-35s. Poland signed the contracts 2 years ago and will receive the F-35 in 2 to 3 years," explained Czech.
Mirosław Czech also added that the newest modification of Abrams tanks, which are currently deployed in Poland, will arrive in Ukraine by fall.
