Called into question Ukrainian territorial integrity: Ukraine’s Foreign Affairs Ministry condemns statement of Croatian President on Crimea
The Foreign Affairs Ministry condemned the statement of Croatian President Zoran Milanovic, who said that "Crimea will never be Ukraine again"
This was announced by the spokesman of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko
He recalled that in the 90s, due to external aggression, Croatia could have lost a third of its land, but the Croats did not accept the occupation of part of the territory and were able to defend the independence of their state.
"We consider unacceptable the statements of the Croatian President, who actually questioned the territorial integrity of Ukraine," emphasized Nikolenko.
"Instead, we highly appreciate and thank the Croatian government and the Croatian people for their unwavering support of Ukrainians in the fight against Russian aggression," he added.
A year ago, Milanovic said that Ukraine had no place in NATO and called the Revolution of Dignity a "coup".
