Boyko's appointment as prime minister, recognition of L/DPR, and annexation of Crimea: Grozev names conditions set by Russia in talks with Ukraine
Bellingcat founder and journalist Hristo Grozev spoke about what Russia wants from Ukraine in the talks. However, he notes that President Volodymyr Zelensky has already categorically rejected these conditions
He said this on Twitter, citing sources close to the talks, reports Espresso.TV.
Thus, according to him, Russia requires Ukraine:
-
Volodymyr Zelenskyy remains the president's proforma, but Russia is appointing Yuriy Boyko prime minister.
-
Recognize the L/DPR and temporarily annex Crimea.
-
Give up NATO.
At the same time, according to Grozev, President Zelensky has already categorically refused these conditions.
It will be recalled that the third round of talks between Ukrainian officials and Russians is scheduled for March 7 at 4 p.m.
The last two rounds of talks have not yielded significant results, except for agreements on further talks. According to Podoliak, negotiations between Ukraine and Russia will be difficult due to the tough positions of the parties.
