Biden administration comments on Scholz's conditions for tanks transfer to Ukraine
The White House has commented on Scholz's conditions regarding the transfer of tanks to Ukraine and stated that the weapons provided are each country's own sovereign decisions
White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said during a briefing in Washington, Ukrinform reports.
“When it comes to other countries, the president believes that each state can and should make its own sovereign decisions about what steps to take in security assistance, as well as what equipment they can provide to Ukraine,” the administration representative said.
In addition, she positively commented on Germany's statement on the transfer of IFVs and Patriot air defense batteries to Ukraine and the transfer of Challenger tanks by the UK.
“We saw the incredible solidarity of nations all over the world in support of Ukraine,” Karine Jean-Pierre emphasized.
