Best response is to speed up weapons supply to Ukraine: MEP Lagodinsky on blowing up of Kakhovka HPP by Russians
MEP from the Green Party (Berlin) Sergey Lagodinsky is convinced that partners and allies should speed up the supply of weapons to Ukraine as a response to the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by Russians
He expressed this opinion on the Espreso TV channel.
"I believe that European governments should react to the actions of the Russian occupiers. This applies to the German government as well. We have always been on the side of Ukraine and our allies. Including the financial issue. However, it seems to me that finances alone cannot solve a catastrophe of this magnitude. Therefore, the only right decision and reaction to the Russians' blowing up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant should be weapons. We and our partners must speed up the supply of weapons to Ukraine so that Ukrainians can liberate their territories from the occupiers," explained Lagodinsky.
