Any preventive measure is a show - Mykola Kniazhytskyi
It is not a punishment, but a means to control the suspect's whereabouts
That is why Kolomoisky remains a suspect and a good citizen until the court's verdict. Yes, a citizen, because it turns out that no one has deprived him of his citizenship. This was the reason for the demand to close the court to the press, which the court quickly agreed to.
The channel (1+1-ed) of Ihor Kolomoisky and Viktor Medvedchuk, (whose family also owned a share of the 1+1 TV channel- ed), continues to be the mouthpiece of the government, a media outlet that regularly interviewes the president and receives state funding, even though it was privately owned.
Therefore, Ihor Kolomoiskyi's story is not about President Zelenskyy trying to punish the largest oligarch (in that case, a more independent National Anti-Corruption Bureau should have done it), but about the Ukrainian authorities doing everything they can to try to get away with it in front of the United States by demonstrating that they are trying to punish Kolomoiskyi without punishment.
