Allies will support strikes against Russia if it is carried out with Ukrainian weapons – politician Bereza
Politician Boryslav Bereza believes that Western allies of Ukraine will not be against strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation, if it is carried out with Ukrainian-made weapons
He stated this on Espreso.
"Our allies are ready and support the idea of Ukraine using its own weapons to carry out strikes in Russia. Valerii Zaluzhnyi expressed this desire after discussing with American and British generals. Our allies have not shown any disagreements or objections after Zaluzhnyi's statement. So, now that we have the desire and the means, we need to put this plan into action. However, it can only happen when we have the necessary Ukrainian-made weapons," explained Bereza.
The politician stressed the importance of establishing a demilitarized zone within Russian territory.
"No one opposes Zaluzhnyi. Our allies are not against strikes on Russia, but they insist that only Ukrainian-made weapons should be used. It's worth mentioning that even in the 'Doctrine of Zaluzhnyi-Zabrodskyi' article from last year, it clearly stated that the only solution is to prevent shelling from Russian territory into Ukraine by creating a demilitarized zone in Russia. It's either through negotiations or the use of weapons," he added.
