Ukraine will retake Crimea as soon as it has means – top commander
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, emphasizes that Ukraine will reclaim the temporarily occupied Crimea as soon as resources are available
Zaluzhnyi made the statement in an interview with the Washington Post.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces hints that even Western partners, who are probably afraid of Russian leader Vladimir Putin's reaction, will not stop the de-occupation of Crimea.
"’As soon as I have the means, I’ll do something. I don’t give a damn — nobody will stop me,’ said Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.”
Zaluzhnyi explained that Ukraine is most dependent on other countries for ammunition. The defense industry of the partner countries struggle to meet Ukraine’s demand for ammunition.
Zaluzhnyi also explained that the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive requires resources, which, according to the commander-in-chief, are still lacking.
