AFU destroy 30 Russian kamikaze drones overnight
On the night of December 18-19, the Ukrainian army shot down 30 of 35 “shaheds” launched by Russian occupying forces on the cities of Ukraine from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov
Air Force of Ukrainian Armed Forces reports on Telegram.
"On the night of December 18-19, 2022, Russian occupying forces attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones. In total, about thirty-five barrage munitions were detected. As last time, attack UAVs were launched from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov," the message says.
Forces and means of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Air Force in cooperation with other units of Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed thirty drones launched by Russian occupying forces. Units of anti-aircraft missile forces, fighter aircraft, and mobile fire groups were involved in the destruction of air targets.

On the night of December 19, Russian troops attacked Kyiv and the region with Shahed drones. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces managed to shoot down 15 drones in the capital, however, there were hits on critical infrastructure facilities.
