44% of Ukrainians separated from their families during the war - poll results

How life of Ukrainians changed during the war and how they are adapting to present - that was the main goal of the new survey conducted by the Sociological Group "Rating" on March 19, 2022

This is reported by the Sociological Group "Rating", informs Espreso.West.

28 days have already passed since the beginning of the full-scale war. 19% of citizens left their homes, most of them left from the east. 93% of them plan to return home after the war.

During this time, 44% of Ukrainians separated from their families, in the east there are more of them - 54%, and in the west less - 39%. The family was divided by the war, some stayed with their parents and children, and some went to defend their motherland. Among young people, 50% were divided - this is the largest figure by age.

Only 58% of Ukrainians surveyed know that everything is fine with their housing, 10% know that their housing is damaged, and 9% that it is destroyed. Others do not have such information.

A thousand adult Ukrainians took part in the survey. Respondents were interviewed by phone.
