In southern Ukraine, 41 settlements remain flooded as a result of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant (HPP) explosion
Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported this on Telegram.
In the Kherson region on the Dnipro River, a decrease in water level is observed at the Kherson post. The level is 0.7 meters.
It is reported that six settlements in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities remain flooded. There are 17 settlements on the territory temporarily occupied by Russia.
2,783 people were evacuated, including 309 children, 80 people with limited mobility and 284 animals.
716 people were rescued, including 30 children and 40 people with limited mobility.
Over 24,000 tons of water have been pumped out of 82 houses and basements per day, and 107,000 tons of water have been pumped out of 413 houses and basements since the start of the work. More than 401 tons of water and 36,597 kg of food and essentials have been transported.
The post also notes that 18 settlements in the Bashtan district of the Mykolaiv region are partially flooded.
During the day, 426 cubic meters of water were pumped out from the territory of 21 households. Since the beginning of the work, 2,216 cubic meters of water have been pumped out from 130 households.
832 people were evacuated, including 165 children.
