Zelenskyy responds to Russia’s night missile attacks on Ukrainian regions
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has responded to Russia's nighttime missile attack on Ukraine on April 28
He made the statement on Telegram.
"Last night the enemy attacked Ukraine again with missiles and UAVs. Terrorists targeted civilians and objects," the President emphasized.
According to him, about 10 apartment buildings were damaged as a result of the missile attack on Uman. In one of them an entire block was destroyed. People are still trapped under the rubble. There are also injured and dead, including a child.
Russian shelling in Dnipro also claimed the life of a child. The President expressed his condolences to all those who lost their relatives and friends due to Russian terror.
He also thanked the Air Force, anti-aircraft gunners and all those who help to overcome the consequences of attacks and who protect Ukrainians.
"This Russian terror must face a fair response from Ukraine and the world. And it will. Every such attack, every evil act against our country and people brings the terrorist state closer to failure and punishment, not vice versa, as they think. We will not forget any crime, we will not let any invader avoid responsibility," President Zelenskyy said.
