Ukraine should have adult conversation with West
Children want adults to act. Therefore, they demand something from them. Their actions and reactions are aimed at making adults realize the child's interest
Adults typically focus on identifying what they need to do in order to achieve their goals. Their actions are directed toward creating the conditions that will enable them to obtain what they desire. In their interactions with others, they often propose ways to align the interests of those individuals with their own, effectively involving them in the process of fulfilling their own objectives.
Politics, geopolitics, and international relations are about adult relationships. Not to mention war and achieving victory in it…
If we want to win, we need to have an adult conversation with our Western partners.
Ukraine should propose solutions to global security problems from the perspective of its partners' interests, talk about its area of responsibility and long-term guarantees that rely on the long will of the numerous interest groups in Ukraine, if not, at this stage, on civil society.
In order to work effectively with the United States, Ukraine needs to find an answer to the question: “What should we do to ensure that our diaspora is guided by the factor of position on supporting Ukraine when deciding whom to vote for?”
In such circumstances, the position of the American elites regarding support for Ukraine would not be a foreign issue, but an internal one. The results of the election would depend on this position.
Therefore, the Republican and Democratic parties, competing for the votes of Americans of Ukrainian descent, would change their policies regarding support for Ukraine.
