Russia strikes administrative building in Kryvyi Rih, injuring 26, including children
On Thursday, November 21, Russian forces launched a missile attack on an administrative building in Kryvyi Rih. The strike injured 26 people, including two children
The information was confirmed by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
According to him, 26 people have been injured in the attack on Kryvyi Rih. Two women are in serious condition: one has cut wounds to the head and the other has a shrapnel wound to the abdomen.
Earlier, Lysak reported 15 known victims, including two teenagers. A 17-year-old boy was hospitalized, while a 16-year-old received medical care on-site.
Oleksandr Vilkul, head of Kryvyi Rih's Defense Council, stated that the target was an administrative building. Emergency crews and municipal services are actively working at the scene.
Initially, 13 people were reported injured, including two children and two adults in serious condition. Preliminary reports also indicate damage to about 10 residential buildings.
Earlier, Lysak reported two casualties from the strike: a 32-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman. The administrative building suffered partial destruction, and two two-story residential buildings were damaged.
Notably, at 10:25 a.m., Vilkul announced explosions in the city.
"Missile strike. More strikes possible. Follow safety protocols — protect yourself and your loved ones," Vilkul wrote.
On the same day, the Russian military deployed MiG-31K and Tu-95 aircraft to strike Ukraine. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, two additional people were injured in the attacks.
