Chechen leader Kadyrov claims Elon Musk donated Tesla Cybertruck to his army: Musk denies
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that American businessman Elon Musk gave him a Tesla Cybertruck electric car to be used at the front. However, Musk denied this claim
Kadyrov said this on Telegram.
According to him, he received a cyber truck from "dear Elon Musk" and personally tested the new equipment.
He posted a video of himself driving an electric car around a city square. There are weapons mounted on the roof of the car.
The head of Chechnya said that due to the excellent characteristics of the cyber vehicle, it will soon be sent to the combat zone, where it “will be needed in appropriate conditions.”
"Elon, thank you! Come to Grozny, I will receive you as my dearest guest! I don't think our Russian Foreign Ministry will be against such a trip. And, of course, we are waiting for your new developments that will contribute to the completion of the special military operation," Kadyrov said.
However, the American businessman later denied Kadyrov's words.
“Are you seriously so r******* that you think I donated a Cybertruck to a Russian general? That’s amazing,” he wrote.
- In June, Musk's company Tesla recalled 125,227 cars in the United States due to a malfunction of the seatbelt warning system.
