Without hitting Crimea bridge, full-fledged Ukrainian counteroffensive is impossible – Feygin
Russian opposition politician Mark Feygin believes that Ukraine should continue strikes on the Crimean bridge, otherwise it will be impossible to launch a full-fledged counteroffensive in south with access to the Chongar Isthmus
He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"It's no coincidence that Putin said immediately after the Crimean bridge was blown up that it was a terrorist attack and that it was a civilian facility. This is not a civilian facility, it is fully used for military purposes. The Russians are transporting equipment, and not only by rail, but the highway was also used to transport equipment and ammunition. It has its own logistical burden. The entire bridge - both railroad and road - was used to transport military cargo. This is documented by intelligence, surveillance, satellite and other means. This is an object that is subject to impact. In addition, Crimea is occupied," Feygin emphasized.
According to Russia's opposition politician, Ukraine should not abandon the strikes on the Crimean bridge, otherwise it will be impossible to launch a full-fledged counteroffensive in southern Ukraine with access to the Chongar Isthmus.
"The transportation of equipment and personnel, the withdrawal of equipment for repair - everything is carried out through this artery. That is, the Crimean bridge is a legitimate object because it is the territory of Ukraine and the bridge was built illegally. It runs through the territory of Ukraine between Kerch and the peninsula. Therefore, strikes on it, especially in times of war, are quite legitimate," Feygin emphasized.
