What Prokopenko (Redis) can tell us about

The return of Azov commander Denys Prokopenko Redis and four other commanders to Ukraine is a serious strengthening of the Defence Forces

Prokopenko is one of the best combat leaders, a true military professional who knows how to create combat capability, learn and improve himself. In 2021, it was Prokopenko and Azov who conducted command and staff exercises for a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces brigadiers and combatants on organising an offensive battle in accordance with NATO regulations, which were introduced only in Azov.

Therefore, Prokopenko's experience, intelligence and character could play an outstanding role in the war if he receives the necessary resources.

“Turkish President Erdogan's decision to release the Azov commanders and extend the grain deal is a significant step in helping Ukraine”

It is also worth noting that about 2,000 defenders of Mariupol remain in captivity. All of them need to be released, all of them suffer and die in the inhumane conditions of Russian concentration camps.

“The release of Prokopenko will allow us to quickly complete the investigation into one of the key issues - why the south of Ukraine surrendered so quickly in a few days, who was responsible for opening all the passages to the enemy at Chongar, who was responsible for the complete lack of preparedness for the defence of Mariupol, Melitopol, Berdyansk, who should be held responsible for the fact that Mariupol was not completely covered from the rear, which led to its encirclement on the fifth day of the war”

It was because of the lack of timely decisions that the 12th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, which included Azov, and the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, along with additional units, were left in the cauldron immediately after the war began, and were doomed to heroism in completely unfavourable combat conditions.

The return of Denys Prokopenko will finally allow us to name all those responsible for the drama in Mariupol, because Redis is a man of principles and honour.
