What is Orban afraid of?
Orban's statements seem strange for a staunch Putin ally
It is something more.
“Orban's statements look very organic for a man who is afraid of being exposed. For example, exposure of aiding and abetting a war criminal, aiding and abetting military aggression.”
The episode with the concentration of Hungarian troops in February/March 2022 has already been covered by our media. The argument that it was not a strike force does not work. A contingent to conduct a 'civilian protection operation' does not necessarily have to have all the features of a strike force.

Who knows, maybe Orban sees a detailed investigation of this story as a risk to himself? And there will definitely be an investigation when Russia is defeated.
Who knows what the Russian war criminals will say to ease their fate? If the hypothesis is wrong, Orban's behavior looks unreasonable. Even if there is no basis for blackmail, the totality of Orban's actions makes it much easier to believe that there is. As his actions accumulate, faith turns into confidence.
