"War closer to Kremlin": SBU head on new tactics against Russia
Vasyl Maliuk, head of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU), reveals ongoing efforts to bring the conflict closer to the Kremlin and teases upcoming "surprises" for the Russians
In an interview with Politico, Maliuk outlined strategic plans.
“We cannot disclose our plans. They should remain a shocker for the enemy. We prepare surprises,” Major General Vasyl Maliuk said in written responses to questions. “The occupiers must understand that it will not be possible to hide. We will find the enemy everywhere.”
Maliuk highlighted the focus on logistical support and military equipment in occupied Ukrainian territories, with planned cross-border attacks.
"The SBU carries out targeted point strikes. We stab the enemy with a needle right in the heart. Each of our special operations pursues a specific goal and gives its result. All this in a complex complicates the capabilities of the Russian Federation for waging war and brings our victory closer," he added.
- On December 11, the Ukrainian Security Service emphasized that details about the special operation involving the possible elimination of ex-Deputy Illia Kyva, a traitor, will be disclosed post-Ukraine's victory.
