Wagner in Belarus builds new camp near Ukraine’s border – Center of National Resistance
Wagner mercenaries have started setting up a tent city for their soldiers at the Zyabrovka airfield in Belarus. This airfield is situated near the border with Ukraine, in the Gomel region
This was reported by the Center of National Resistance.
Reportedly, the Wagner group is planning to station around 1,000 mercenaries there.
Based on information from underground sources, the new Wagner camp at the border with Ukraine's Chernihiv region is intended for simulating undercover activities.
Furthermore, there's a strong chance that Wagner might be employed to imitate actions in line with the Russian Federation and Belarus' efforts to put pressure on European nations through information operations.
“The main aim of this effort is to make European countries decrease their support for Ukraine. It's like saying, 'if only we weren't attacked,” emphasizes the National Resistance Center.
They also mention that in the initial phase of this information campaign, there will be a simulation of Wagner PMC camps being set up, along with spreading narratives that the mercenaries are prepared to enter EU countries.
