“There are no limits for evil”: Zelenskyy compares Putin to Hitler during speech in French parliament
On June 7, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the French Parliament. During his speech, he compared the actions of Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Adolf Hitler
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in the National Assembly (Parliament) of France.
"We must remember that there is an enemy outside that leaves neither nations nor people. Where it comes, there is no right to language or the opportunity to choose how people live. Look at what Russian control is - it is the scorched deserted ruins of our villages and cities. And this is a fact,” the president said.
According to him, dictator Putin is turning his country into a territory of “devalued life, literally the reverse side of everything that is valuable to you and me.”
"The opposite of freedom, the opposite of equality, the opposite of brotherhood, and therefore the opposite of Europe - that's what Putin is. There are no limits for evil, either 80 years ago or now. If someone tries to draw temporary lines, it will give a pause before a new war. Hitler crossed line after line, and Putin is doing the same today,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
