Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an evening video address.
“We will definitely continue to strike Russian military targets – with drones and missiles, increasingly with Ukrainian-made ones, specifically targeting military bases and Russian military infrastructure used in this terror against our people,” the statement reads.
According to the President, Ukraine's defense is completely justified.
“I thank all those around the world who support Ukraine in this, particularly those advocating for increased defense spending in European countries, for the modernization and technological advancement of arsenals in Europe. And I thank all those who ensure that the pressure on Russia for this war is increased,” Zelenskyy added.
- On the morning of Saturday, December 21, the city of Kazan in the Russian republic of Tatarstan came under attack by drones. The drones allegedly hit the upper floors of houses in elite residential complexes. During the day, locals reported explosions coming from a gunpowder factory.
