Russian soldiers shot five Ukrainian soldiers who had surrendered. Ukraine's Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets stated that he will appeal to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)

Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets made the statement.
“The 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Lieutenant General Marko Bezruchko has released a video of another crime committed by Russians – the shooting of soldiers who surrendered. The video shows Russian soldiers shooting five captured Ukrainian defenders,” Lubinets wrote.
He said he would report this fact to the UN and the ICRC.
“Russian war criminals who shoot Ukrainian prisoners of war must be brought before an international tribunal and face the most severe punishment provided by law!” emphasized the Ombudsman.
- In the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region, Russian soldiers shot four more Ukrainian servicemen who had been taken prisoner.
