On October 5, during President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to Spain, he had an audience with King Felipe VI in Granada.

This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian president.

Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude to King Felipe, the Spanish royal family and the entire nation for their continued support of Ukraine.

Felipe VI expressed his admiration of the Ukrainian people who are resisting aggression. He stressed that Spain's support for Ukraine in this struggle is based on fundamental respect for sovereignty and the inadmissibility of aggression.

Ukrainian Armed Forces advance near Andriivka and Robotyne

This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

It is noted that Ukrainian troops continue to conduct offensive actions in the Melitopol direction (western Zaporizhzhia region) and offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction.

The ISW confirmed the information provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that Ukrainian forces have made unspecified progress east of Andriivka (10 km southwest of Bakhmut). Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Tavria group of troops, Colonel Oleksandr Shtupun, said that Ukrainian forces had achieved partial success west of Robotyne (10 km south of Orikhiv).

Ukraine's Armed Forces have created a long-range fire fist, so Russia cannot conduct counter-battery operations

This was reported by Brigadier General Serhiy Baranov, Head of the Missile Forces and Artillery and Unmanned Systems of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Thanks to Western high-precision missile and artillery systems, we have combined and created a long-range "fire fist" that hits so hard that the Russian enemy is no longer able to conduct effective counter-battery combat with us," Baranov said.

Currently, the majority, up to 90 per cent, of the fire damage to Russian forces and equipment is caused by missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Sweden to send Ukraine a new military aid package

Defense Minister Pål Jonson said on Friday, Reuters reports.

The package is worth about $199 million.

The new military aid package will be the 14th one that Sweden has provided to Ukraine since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion. This will bring the total value of such assistance from the Scandinavian country to just over 22 billion kronor.

Jonson said at a press conference that the government had also officially instructed the armed forces to analyze whether Sweden could send JAS Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine.

Ukraine's Security Service lures FSB agent out of Transnistria and detains him in Odesa region

The Security Service of Ukraine's counterintelligence conducted a multi-stage special operation that resulted in the removal of a Russian agent, nicknamed "Skif", from the territory of unrecognized Transnistria and detention in Odesa region.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine's (SBU) press centre.

The agent's Russian task was to create his own agent network in southern Ukraine. To do this, he tried to remotely recruit residents of Odesa region, including local law enforcement officers.

In order to bring the criminal to the territory of Ukraine, the SBU brought an officer into his environment and created conditions for her "consent" to cooperate with terrorists.

"According to the scenario of the Ukrainian special service, the offender came to Odesa region to personally recruit the 'candidate'. The SBU's operational combination allowed us to gradually document the criminal actions of the Russian agent and detain him red-handed," the statement said.
