Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania have agreed on grain transit

The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi and the Ministers of Agriculture of Poland and Lithuania agreed on this on the morning of October 3, during a regular online meeting, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reports.

"Over the next two days, veterinary, sanitary and phytosanitary control will be transferred from the Ukrainian-Polish border to the port of Klaipeda (Lithuania) for all agricultural cargo going to this port. This will speed up transit through Poland," the statement said.

The ministers of Poland and Lithuania noted that their governments support such a control mechanism and consider it a constructive step.

Ukraine inflicts a functional defeat on the Russian Black Sea Fleet

The UK Ministry of Defence believes that Ukrainian forces have managed to inflict a functional defeat on the Russian fleet in the Black Sea.

The UK Minister of State (Minister for Armed Forces) at the Ministry of Defence James Hippey said this in a speech at the Warsaw Security Forum, according to European Pravda.

During his speech, Hippey called for a high assessment of Ukraine's military achievements.

"Yes, Ukraine's progress is slow, but no one can say that it is not there. You can point to the Kharkiv breakthrough as a model of success. But look at what Ukraine has done now in the Black Sea! Ukraine has achieved a functional defeat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet," he said.

Commenting on Ukraine's land counter-offensive, Hippey said that "every inch counts".

European Parliament approves €50 billion financing for the Ukraine Facility

This was reported by the press service of the European Parliament.

The European Parliament has voted in favour of a resolution to revise the EU budget for 2021-2027, which, in particular, provides for the creation of a special €50 billion Ukraine Facility.

"We aim to stabilise Ukraine's situation with a new EUR 50 billion facility while bolstering the EU’s economy. We are reinforcing the budget with top-ups for migration and ensuring flexibility to respond to crises. –We are boosting the EU’s economy with STEP," said co-speaker Jan Olbrycht (EPP, Poland).

Ukraine's presence in the Black Sea is powerful

Natalia Humeniuk, spokesperson of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

"We are not so small in the Black Sea. We possess a significant presence in the Black Sea, and our strength and capabilities pose a credible threat to the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Although, the enemy is trying to put pressure from the air. In particular, the Russian tactical aviation continues to assert its dominance and exert pressure on civilian shipping near Zmiinyi Island, where they drop guided bombs," Humeniuk said.

Ukraine's aviation carried out 13 strikes against Russian enemy

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the day, the aviation of the Defence Forces carried out 13 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, and 4 on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

Missile troops struck 3 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 20 enemy artillery pieces.
