Ukrainians crowdfund UAH 64 million for 40 Warmate drones for Ukraine's Armed Forces: 20 drones are at the frontline
40 Polish Warmate kamikaze drones have been purchased for Ukraine's Armed Forces using money crowdfunded for the Drone Army. 20 drones have already been sent to the frontline, and the rest will arrive within a month.
The press service of Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation wrote about this on Telegram.
According to the report, Ukrainians have crowdfunded UAH 64 million through monobank for the Drone Army.
"With these funds, 40 attack drones were purchased for Ukraine's Armed Forces. Half of them have already been sent to the front. The rest will arrive within a month," the press service of Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation wrote.
It is noted that Warmate are Polish-made drones used by the Polish army and other NATO member states.
"The drones are capable of detecting and hitting lightly armored vehicles, anti-aircraft defense, radio-electronic warfare, and radio-electronic reconnaissance equipment of the enemy. Next, the operators mark a point on the map and provide autopilot data for the strike," the message says.
