Ukrainian lawmakers from which parties are fighting at front
Among the parties that have representation in parliament or are among the top 10 in terms of the number of deputies at the local level, the Radical Party has the most frontline soldiers
The Chesno movement, which is a Ukrainian public campaign to advance a fair election process, has prepared a study on frontline MPs in local councils as of July this year to mark Ukraine's Independence Day.
"It is beneficial for Russia to launch a narrative that MPs do not fight, but instead sit in the rear behind the backs of citizens. However, as the research of the Chesno Movement shows, a significant number of local council members are now at the frontline and are defending the sovereignty of our country along with others. It is important that parties appreciate this contribution and help the public sector to highlight the achievements of their colleagues at the front," says Vita Dumanska, leader of Chesno.
"The Radical Party" has 31% of the total number of council members, which means 22 military personnel out of 71 deputies.
"Svoboda" reported that 102 out of 402 deputies with mandates in city, regional, and district councils are currently serving - 25.6%.
"European Solidarity" has 13.7 percent of local deputies at the front (328 deputies) at the level of city, regional, and district councils. This party has the largest number of dead.
As for Propozytsiya, it has 28 deputies, which is 11.1% of the total number of local deputies.
"Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko's UDAR" has 10 deputies serving out of 120 local deputies, which is 8.3% of their total number.
Batkivshchyna has 1,597 deputies at these levels of local government, and 103 in the army. In terms of percentage, 6.4% of local councils' deputies are serving.
The party "For the Future" has 48 deputies at the front, which is 5.4% of the total number of deputies at the level of city, regional and district councils.

The data for 2023 was not provided by the Servant of the People and Holos (the Voice) parliamentary parties. The former refused, while the latter said it could not collect the information. An appeal to Groysman's Ukrainian Strategy party also went unanswered.
"We understand the importance of refuting the fakes of the aggressor country, which claims that MPs are not at war. This is a narrative favorable to Russia in order to undermine trust in the government. And the ruling party should understand the importance of building trust in both MPs and local governments. It is noteworthy that Olena Shulyak is the head of the committee responsible for local self-government. Moreover, it is very important for local council members to understand that the party appreciates and knows those who are fighting. In addition, we emphasize that this text is being produced using volunteer resources, not at the expense of donors," Dumanska added.
It is reported that the data taken from those parties that have representation in the Ukrainian Parliament are among the top ten in terms of the number of deputies at the local level and have deputies in many regions of Ukraine
