Ukraine's resistance to Russian aggression is example for Taiwan on how to counter larger army – US Defense Secretary
Ukraine's resistance to Russian aggression is an important lesson for Taiwan in terms of confronting a massive enemy
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated this in an address during the Senate hearings, reports Ukrinform.
The Pentagon chief emphasized that an important lesson learned is that a smaller force can effectively defend itself against a larger force through the use of asymmetric capabilities and tactics.
He further highlighted that Ukrainian troops were able to prevent Russia from seizing their country and even managed to regain previously captured territories, thanks to the support they received from the international community in terms of weapons, equipment, ammunition, and training exercises.
