“Ukraine’s mobilization efforts are unsatisfactory” - AFU Major Kudryashov
Rodion Kudryashov, deputy commander of the 3rd Detached Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, believes that the state should improve communication with society regarding mobilization activities and approve this process at the legislative level
He expressed this opinion on the air of Espreso TV channel
"Today it is very important that mobilization works from two sides. First, more effective mobilization measures and administrative legislation. I am not entirely satisfied with what is happening now. Especially the fact that draft officers go to restaurants with weapons. Because those bodies that are engaged in mobilization have not been granted the appropriate rights. Today, if a person refuses to accept a summons to the military commissariat, he or she can only face an administrative offense. Therefore, these processes need to be regulated by law," explained Kudryashov.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces major emphasized that the state should improve communication with the public regarding mobilization activities.
"It's also worth noting that the government failed the information campaign. The civilian population heard from the TV screens every day that everything was fine and that there would be a victory soon. This is not true. People need to understand that this war is for a long time. Therefore, mobilization should be carried out along with good communication between the government and society," he added.
