Ukraine's intelligence service outlines conditions under which war with Russia may end in 2023
The representative of the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence Vadim Skibitsky stated that the war with Russia may end in 2023, provided that pressure on Moscow and support for Ukraine remain at current levels
Skibitsky said this in an interview with the Italian edition of Corriere della Sera.
He claims the war may end in 2023 if economic pressure on Russia continues and the international community's support for Ukraine remains at a high level.
"We will do everything possible to end the war this year. It also depends on how the economic situation in Russia is going and whether the economic pressure will remain high. If the support of Ukraine by the international community will remain the same, Russia will be increasingly isolated," Skibitsky said.
He stressed that Ukraine's goal remains to return to the 1991 borders.
"Our goal is to liberate all occupied territories and return to the borders of 1991," Skibitsky said.
