Minister for Ukraine's Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, explains three steps to Ukraine's full membership in the EU after the completion of accession negotiations
Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported the information.
According to Kuleba, the first steps will include the European Commission's conclusion on the successful completion of negotiations and Ukraine's compliance with the accession criteria and the decision to sign the EU-Ukraine Accession Agreement.
The last step will be the ratification of the Agreement by the parliaments of the EU member states and Ukraine's full membership in the EU.
"Tomorrow (June 25), there will be an inaugural session, followed by six clusters of negotiations that will open and close. Experts in the relevant fields will work to align Ukrainian legislation with EU standards," the Foreign Minister emphasized.
He also added that Ukraine's accession to the EU will be an event of global significance for Europe.
